About the HTML to PDF
This HTML to PDF converter turns pasted HTML, or just plain text, into a downloadable PDF. It understands common tags such as headings, paragraphs, line breaks, lists, bold and italic text, and images, and lays them out onto A4 or Letter pages. It never fetches another website - only the HTML or text you paste in is used, and the PDF is built entirely in your browser.

What HTML is supported
Headings (h1-h6), paragraphs, line breaks, bulleted and numbered lists, bold/strong and italic/emphasis text, and images given as data: URLs are laid out in the PDF. Tags this tool does not specifically understand, such as tables, links or custom styling, are ignored, but any text inside them is still kept so nothing is silently dropped.
Why can't it fetch images or pages from a URL?
This tool never makes network requests on your behalf, so an <img src="https://..."> pointing at another website will not appear - only images already embedded as data: URLs are shown. This keeps the tool private and avoids ever contacting a website without your direct action.
Frequently asked questions
Can I convert plain text, not just HTML?
Yes. Text with no tags at all is treated as a single paragraph, so you can paste plain text directly.
Will my CSS styling and colours be kept?
No. This tool focuses on structure and readable content - headings, paragraphs, lists, bold/italic and images - rather than exact colours, fonts or CSS layout.
Can it convert a web page from a URL?
No, only HTML or text you paste in yourself. It never fetches other websites, which keeps everything private and predictable.
Is my pasted content uploaded anywhere?
No. The whole conversion runs in your browser using JavaScript, and nothing you paste ever leaves your device.
