About the Organize PDF
Pages sometimes end up in the wrong order after scanning or merging several documents. This tool organizes a PDF by letting you drag page thumbnails into a new order, or move them with the arrow buttons if you prefer not to drag. Once the order looks right, save a new PDF with the pages rearranged. Everything happens on your device, so the file is never uploaded.
How to use the Organize PDF
- Choose the PDF you want to reorder.
- Drag a page thumbnail to its new position, or use the ← and → buttons.
- Repeat until the pages are in the order you want.
- Click Save new order and download the reorganized PDF.
Features
- Drag and drop page thumbnails to reorder them
- Move buttons work without a mouse, for keyboard users
- Page numbers update live as you reorder
- No watermark and no quality loss
- Private - your PDF never leaves your device
When pages need reordering
A common case is scanning a stack of paper that comes out in the wrong sequence, or merging two PDFs where one needs to slot into the middle of the other. Rather than starting over, this tool lets you fix the order of an existing PDF directly.
Reordering without a mouse
Each page thumbnail has a "move earlier" and "move later" button, so pages can be reordered with a keyboard or touch screen as easily as with drag and drop.
Frequently asked questions
Can I reorder pages without dragging them?
Yes. Every page thumbnail has ← and → buttons that move it one position earlier or later, which also works with a keyboard.
Does reordering change the content of a page?
No. Pages are copied exactly as they are; only their position in the document changes.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is opened and reordered entirely in your browser with JavaScript and is never sent anywhere.
Can I also delete or rotate pages here?
This tool only reorders pages. Use Delete PDF Pages or Rotate PDF for those, either before or after organizing the order.
